Assessment should open up the next conversation.
Teachers already collect valuable evidence. The challenge is bringing it together in a form that makes patterns, strengths and learning priorities easy to see.
Assessment Atlas connects assessment results with the task, marking criteria and sample answers, turning that evidence into polished teacher and student reports.
Clearer evidence. Useful feedback. A purposeful next step.
Bring assessment evidence into focus with clear comparisons, practical reports and the teacher’s professional judgement at the centre.
Question-level averages, cohort trends and class comparisons bring the overall picture into focus.
Student-versus-class insights help make feedback more specific. Authorised names belong on exported student reports.
Marking criteria and model answers serve different purposes. Atlas preserves their sources and keeps those distinctions visible.
Review the mapping, connect the evidence and add comments. The reports support the conversation about learning.
Assessment Atlas was founded by Josh Moloney, an experienced educator and Head of PDHPE in regional NSW, with a simple belief: assessment should provide more than just marks and grades. It should offer meaningful insights that help teachers understand student performance and improve learning outcomes.
The idea began during countless evenings spent analysing HSC results, working through spreadsheets and preparing reports for the year ahead, often with the Australian Open playing in the background.
While the insights were valuable, the process was unnecessarily time-consuming. There had to be a better way.
That frustration became the foundation of Assessment Atlas.
Built from real classroom experience, Assessment Atlas aims to simplify assessment analysis, reduce teacher workload and transform results into clear, actionable insights.
Because teachers should spend less time organising data and more time using it to make a difference.
